The story of King Richard III offers fascinating insights, entry points and resources into the RE curriculum. Members of the King Richard III Project and the Cathedral Quarter Partnership have been working on this, and are able to offer colleagues in schools a CPD afternoon around the work we have done.

The group working on this includes; Fiona Moss (RE Today), Ralph Wood (St. Peter’s CE Primary Academy, Market Bosworth), Alison Adams (Leicester Cathedral).

This event is particularly suitable for RE subject leaders and teachers at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. It will take place at St. Martin’s House, next to Leicester Cathedral, on June 25th from 1.00 – 4.00p.m. A sandwich lunch will be provided and there will be no charge for the event.

Spaces are limited so to book your place at the event please e-mail  Lorna Gregory

The Cathedral Quarter Partnership team includes the King Richard III Visitor Centre, Leicester Arts & Museums, Leicester Cathedral, Leicestershire Heritage Services and the University of Leicester.
