Richard III school events at Bosworth Battlefield Monday 23rd March to Wednesday 25th March

Be part of this major historic event at Bosworth Battlefield where King Richard III lost his life and crown in 1485! We are offering your pupils a unique opportunity to take part in our exciting programme of interactive workshops and live performances developed by Leicestershire County Council’s Museums’ Learning Team, to commemorate this once in a life time event.

Activities include:

  • a theatre performance of ‘What Remains of Richard’ that explores the evidence for and against  some of the myths and accusations surrounding King Richard III
  • A unique music and choral performance of ‘Upon this field’ by by the hugely respected Sinfonia Viva
  • A guided tour of Bosworth Battlefield
  • Hands-on period workshops
