Bosworth Battlefield has received VisitEngland recognition for the Two Kings, One Day story told at the Leicestershire County Council-run heritage centre.
The centre is one of a number of attractions to receive a ‘Best Story Told’ accolade, which recognises outstanding venues going the extra mile to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for visitors.
Richard Blunt, county council cabinet member for heritage, said: “I’m delighted that Bosworth has received such an accolade for the way the story of ‘Two Kings, One Day’ is told.
“It has come at another exciting time in Bosworth’s history with the battlefield centre about to be one of the focal points for world attention with next month’s reinterment of King Richard III taking place in the city and county.”
